Hey again there guys and girls, I though it was time for another update on whats happening in London!
At the end of our July course we had a drinks competition with prizes provided by Bombay Sapphire Gin, all the students took part and came up with some really cool drinks all inspired by Bombay Sapphire!
The prize for the best cocktail was a Bottle of Bombay Sapphire, a book on the history of the Martini cocktail, and also some Bombay Sapphire bar equiptment!
The students all made different drinks using a big range of fruits, liquors, vermouths, eggs and other ingredients!
So some really good drinks but there could only be one winner which was…
The Don Juan by Don Holqwist
50ml Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin
25ml fresh Lemon juice
10ml Aperol
10ml St Germain Elderflower liquor
10ml gomme syrup
A very refreshing drink with a great balance of gin and Aperol.
Well done Don for making a great drink! Now we need to see what the August group can come up with when they have their own attempt next week!
